Can you use your massager to help healing? The trials show that therapeutic vibration will increase circulation (which should improve healing), plus gives a faster recovery after exercise. However, in animal trials 20 minutes per day of 45 Hz (75-80% of full speed on your massager) did the following:
- increase wound healing
- speed muscle growth and repair
- increase the levels of growth hormones
- cause healing with less scar tissue, and
- help nerves heal

Of course it is unethical to injure hundreds of people to compare healing so this will probably never be proven with humans. However, with vibration massage being easy, safe and having some proven benefits, and is likely to have these effects when using it on any injury or rehabilitation. I’m certainly using it.
